St Andrew Football Club AGM
Report on the recent Football Club AGM held in
the Royal Oak.
Team Manager J Sanderson reported the club was
in a strong position with new players signed to strengthen the team
further following last year’s promotion to a higher level. He thanked
club secretary D Gardiner team captain Neil Devoto, assistant manager J
Kane along with the rest of the committee for all the effort put in to
bring the club so far.
The secretary then reported on the advances
the club has made over the past 12 months particular in the field of
youth development. He confirmed that the club had received funding
towards the further development of management and coaching and was
pleased to advise that 5 possible 6 people would be attending both Child
protections. Team management and coaching courses run by the FA and to
be funded by the Club.
He emphasised the need for ongoing tight
financial control and the need to continue with efforts to obtain
further sponsorship and ongoing fund raising events.
The current committee was dissolved and a new
committee elected.

The committee expressed its thanks to Tony
Brown retiring chairman for his efforts on the clubs behalf particularly
in connection with the reforming of the club.

Alternatively just turn up at one of our Tuesday
Eve kickabouts on the village hall playing field.
Remember we also have youth coaching for 4 to
16year olds every sat Morning again at the village hall. Bring your
